The formation of VoiceTech Communications was a result of the acquisition of the base level VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) technology by Motorskill Venture Group. With a keen insight into the inherent intellectual value of the technology with $150 million dollars of vested research and development, Motorskill Ventures strategically acquired the technology rights in October of 2001.
Synergistic Funding & Support
. . . for Technology Innovation.
Upon formation of VoiceTech Communications Corp, substantial additional investment allowed for further enhancement and the ability to streamline the base platform for international implementation. In December 2002 we were pleased to introduce to the world, the "re-branded" voiceNow! platform in conjunction with a strategic shift in market positioning as a Voice Enhanced Service Provider (VeSP).
The base platform for the VoiceTech technology is a duplex VoIP application supporting both PC-to-PC and PC-to-Phone voice communications. The VoiceTech technology and proprietary compression provides TELCO quality voice with service level guarantee over a 28.8 Internet connection, providing the necessary clarity and quality for the international demographic. The voiceNow! platform has been validated in production environments and load tested to ensure system and software stability.
The ability to provide TELCO quality voice communications for both high and low bandwidth (dial up) connectivity opens the international marketplace for the majority of Internet users. Further research confirms that for an IP voice application of this nature to proliferate on a mass scale, usability and end user hardware requirements will determine market success.
With a focus on providing our customers with a user-friendly experience, the VoiceTech technology is a "light weight" web-based application with the following features:
Small Download (required only for the first use)
512 KB
Simplicity of Use
Point , Click and Talk!
Operating System Flexibility
Both Windows/PC and Apple/Macintosh
Browser Support
Internet Explorer/Netscape/AOL
In-Expensive or Standard Hardware Requirements:
Microphone/Speakers or Combination Headset
Sound Blaster Compatible Sound Card
Competitive Advantage:
Turnkey VoIP PC-to-PC and PC-to-Phone communications solution.
Minimal end user requirements.
Production proven technology: compatible, reliable, and scalable.
Managed network infrastructure: superior QOS
TELCO quality audio, low maintenance and operating costs.
Expandable platform for feature upgrades and enhancement.
PSTN pass through compatible with both h.323 and SIP.
Speed-to-market with consumer ready application.
Short lead-time for initial deployment and expansion.
Enhanced collaboration through available modules.
Value Proposition:
The clear value proposition for both business and consumer usage of the VoiceTech technology is long distance call cost savings, productivity enhancement, and reduced conferencing expense. Although the domestic long distance savings are obvious, the value is dramatically amplified for international phone calls.
The quality of service advantage internationally is far above perceived "VoIP competitors" utilizing peer-to-peer technology without server-side voice mixing controls; notorious for conversation breakage, voice jitter and latency issues.
For business conferencing and personal communications, the VoiceTech platform provides a cost effective virtual landscape for dial in collaboration and PC-based interaction.
In addition to cost savings, the flexibility to provide enhanced services leveraging the Internet provides a tremendous opportunity for revenue growth. The VoiceTech developmental roadmap has identified consumer friendly methods for web enabling voice communications in conjunction with visual media to increase product offerings and customer retention.
