How to use the Communicator:
The first step is to log in.
Access the Click 2 Talk Gateway page and simply insert your access code into the appropriate field and click on Submit.
Once in, you may be asked to accept an item for the Communicator Applet. Click “Yes” to continue.
If you are using the Communicator for the first time, you will see a tab box to enter your personal information after the applet is being installed. You can bypass this step and update it at a later time.
The page will load and you will see the Communicator control box on the left side of the page.
This box will include:
- All callers currently in the room.
- A status for each caller in the room:
M for moderator and P for Participant.
- A volume control for sound.
You will be listed as Unidentified at the start if you did not enter your information in the earlier step. To view your preferences in the room and show your name, follow these steps.
1. Right-click on the words “Powered By...” towards the bottom of the Communicator Applet.
2. Select "Preferences" by left-clicking on the word.
3. A box will appear and you will be viewing the tab for "User".
4. Enter your information.
5. Click “Apply” then click “OK”.
6. Re-Enter the conference room by going to the login page or "gateway".
7. Enter your Access ID or Pin Code and click on Submit.
Your name will then appear in the Communicator's list of Participants and/or Moderator.
